Even (hereinafter, "the Application") is a tool for sharing and managing split expenses developed by DevApps. We deeply value your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data you share with us.

To provide you with the expense splitting service, we collect and process the following types of data:

• Registration Information: Your email address, full name, and password to authenticate your account.
• Group and Expense Information: Group names, participant names, details of expenses entered, amounts, dates, descriptions, and receipt images that you choose to scan using the OCR feature.
• Device Information: Device identifiers for push notifications (if enabled).

2. How We Use Information

We use your data solely for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the real-time synchronization functionality of your expense groups.
• To facilitate the calculation, simplification, and settlement of debts among group members.
• To process receipt images through our Optical Character Recognition (OCR) engine to automatically extract amounts and descriptions.
• To send notifications about activities in your groups (new expenses, settlements, or invitations).

3. Data Sharing

Your data is private. We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for commercial purposes. Your data is only visible to:

• Other users who are part of the same groups you create or join.
• Technology infrastructure service providers necessary for the app's operation (such as Supabase for database and authentication, and Firebase for notifications).

4. Data Security

We implement technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can delete your account directly from within the app, which will permanently remove your profile information.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
